Having a strong support system through your lupus journey is so important. Friends and family are vital, but so is connecting with others who understand what it’s like to live with chronic illness. Below are links to where you can find some of the different support groups across the U.S.
Lupus Foundation of America – Here you can find a list of in-person support groups in locations across the country
Molly’s Fund Fighting Lupus – Local in-person support groups are held in OR, WY, TN and MA. If you are in any of these states, check for locations in your area
Molly’s Fund Facebook Live – Molly’s Fund hosts an online support group on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:00PM EST/10:00 PST, hosted on Facebook Live. **This is a great one to check out and connect with others around the world!**
Lupus Connect – LFA has created a section within the Inspire Community called “Lupus Connect”. It is similar to a chat room, in that you can start a discussion (ask a question, make a comment, etc.) under general topics
Inspire – Inspire is a community that has sections for ALL chronic illnesses. It’s great because they also have specific sections for alternative medicine/therapies (yoga, acupuncture, herbal medicine, etc.)
